The AudioControl EPICPRO69CX speakers are engineered for extreme volume and clarity, offering a "street loud" and "studio clear" audio experience. Designed by AudioControl engineers, these 6x9-inch coaxial speakers are built to handle immense Sound Pressure Levels (SPL) without compromise. The proaxial design incorporates a midrange driver and a bullet tweeter for an incredibly loud, full-range sound. These speakers are optimized for seamless integration with AudioControl EPIC Series amplifiers, creating a cohesive audio system. They boast a power handling of 200W RMS and 300W Max, with a 4-ohm impedance and a system frequency response of 100 – 20,000 Hz. The high SPL output is further enhanced by a 97.6 dB sensitivity and a substantial 30 oz magnet. Key construction elements include a lightweight voice coil, a precision-designed tweeter horn with a titanium diaphragm for high-volume, accurate sound, and a double-roll cloth surround for accurate sound reproduction. The basket is constructed from high-tensile stamped steel for improved damping, complemented by a stiff paper cone for warm, smooth sound. A copper shorting ring widens the speaker's bandwidth. Each set includes two EPICPRO69CX speakers, mounting hardware, speaker grilles, and a user manual. The physical dimensions include an overall diameter with grille of 6.7 x 9.39 inches and a cut-out diameter of 5.75 x 8.35 inches, with a mounting depth of 2.94 inches.
