The Ford Performance M-6007-MZ73 7.3L Megazilla crate engine is engineered to deliver exceptional power and performance. This complete engine assembly boasts a displacement of 7.3 liters and achieves a peak output of 612 horsepower at 5,580 RPM and 670 lb-ft of torque at 3,920 RPM. It maintains over 500 lb-ft of torque across a broad range from 2,500 to 6,000 RPM, making it suitable for a variety of applications. Construction highlights include a robust production cast iron block, a forged steel crankshaft, Mahle forged pistons, and Callies H-beam forged connecting rods. The cylinder heads are CNC ported aluminum (M-6049-SD73P/M-6050-SD73P), paired with a low-profile intake manifold (M-9424-73LP) and a 92mm throttle body. The camshaft is a hi-performance 7.3L unit with VCT delete (M-6250-SD73A). The assembly includes production components like the oil pan and engine wiring harness, and features a bellhousing bolt pattern compatible with Ford 4.6/5.4 and Coyote 5.0L engines. This crate engine requires a custom calibration for optimal performance and is compatible with specific control packs (M-6017-73M and M-6017-73A), starter (M-11000-SD73), and FEAD systems (M-8600-SD73 and M-8600-SD73AC).
