Description

The Brian Tooley Racing PR7400312-1 is a one-piece pushrod engineered for Chevrolet Gen III and IV LS-style engines, including popular displacements like 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, and 6.2L. This specific pushrod measures 7.400 inches in length with a 5/16 inch diameter and a robust .080 inch wall thickness. Constructed from high-strength SAE 4130 chromoly tubing, these pushrods undergo a centerless grinding process to achieve exacting tolerances. They are then case-hardened to Rc 60 for enhanced durability and wear resistance. The ball ends are precisely machined to within +/- 0.001 inches, ensuring consistent contact and optimal valvetrain geometry. A black oxide finish with laser-etched part numbers and specifications adds to the professional look and identification. It is crucial to measure for the correct pushrod length using the recommended method, as simply measuring overall length may not yield accurate results for proper valvetrain setup.
