Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assemblies are rebuilt to high-quality standards. Each assembly is inspected for straightness, cracks, and wear. All internal components (ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, carriers) are inspected and tested. All bearings & seals are replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. Correct gear backlash is set for lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected to OEM straightness standards. Zumbrota uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting, followed by a proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning.
