Description

The VRSF 7.5" Competition HD FMIC is engineered as a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory intercooler in N54 and N55 powered BMW models, including the 2007-2013 135i, 335i, and X1. This upgrade is crucial for vehicles running higher boost levels or tunes, as the OEM intercooler is prone to heat soak and power loss. Constructed with CFD-engineered cast aluminum end tanks, this intercooler offers improved flow and durability over traditional sheet metal designs. The core is capable of supporting up to 850whp and has been involved in record-breaking builds. For installation, the 7.5" Competition HD kit includes everything needed, though trimming of the black plastic shroud behind the bumper is required. The bumper itself does not require trimming or removal. VRSF also ensures each intercooler is hand-finished and pressure tested for a leak-free experience and includes a lifetime warranty. This intercooler is compatible with Left Hand Drive (LHD), Right Hand Drive (RHD), and XI models. It fits the following BMW models: 2007-2013 E90/E91/E92/E93 335i & 335xi, 2011-2013 E92 335is, 2008-2013 E82 135i, and 2012-2015 E84 X1 35i.
