The VRSF 7.5″ Competition HD FMIC is a front mount intercooler upgrade designed for BMW N54 and N55 engines. It features a large bar and plate core with a high-density fin pack for improved heat absorption and dissipation without compromising airflow.

The kit includes a lower charge pipe, couplers, clamps, and mounting hardware. Due to its size, the black plastic shroud requires trimming during installation, but the bumper cover does not need modification. The intercooler is pressure tested for a leak-free experience and fits Left Hand Drive, Right Hand Drive, and all XI models.

The VRSF 7.5″ Competition HD FMIC is a high-performance front mount intercooler upgrade engineered for BMW 135i, 335i, and X1 models equipped with N54 and N55 engines. It directly replaces the factory intercooler, which is known to become overwhelmed under increased boost levels and airflow, leading to heat soak, power loss, and potential pre-detonation. At the heart of this intercooler is its custom bar and plate core, featuring a staggered and offset high-density internal and external fin pack. This design is optimized for maximum heat absorption and dissipation while minimizing pressure drop. The 7.5″ Competition HD model utilizes the largest 7″ core available in its class, capable of supporting up to 850 wheel horsepower. CFD-engineered cast aluminum end tanks contribute to the overall durability and performance. The kit comes complete with everything needed for installation, including a lower charge pipe, necessary couplers, clamps, and mounting hardware. While the intercooler itself is designed as a direct bolt-on, the larger core size necessitates trimming the black plastic shroud. Importantly, the bumper cover does not require any trimming or removal for installation. This VRSF intercooler is compatible with both Left Hand Drive (LHD) and Right Hand Drive (RHD) models, as well as all XI variants.
