The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1961D is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically designed for 1999-2004 Ford Mustang models. It features a 7.5-inch ring gear and a 3.27 gear ratio, intended for vehicles without ABS and without Posi Traction. This axle assembly is rebuilt to high standards of precision and reliability. Zumbrota Drivetrain meticulously inspects each assembly for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, undergo thorough inspection and testing. All bearings and seals are replaced as part of the remanufacturing process. The gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and set to correct rolling torque and backlash specifications to ensure proper lubrication, quiet operation, and longevity. Zumbrota employs an exclusive hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by a proprietary deep cleaning process. Axle tubes are also inspected to ensure they meet OEM standards of straightness. This particular assembly is Ford-built and includes the differential cover, but fluid is not included. Fitment is specified for 1999-2004 Ford Mustang models, including the 3.8L engine (1999-2004) and the 3.9L engine (2004). The Ford Mustang GT model from 2002 is also listed. This unit is explicitly for models *without* ABS and *without* Posi Traction.
