Description

The Texas Speed & Performance 7.850 pushrod is a set of 16 hardened chromemoly pushrods engineered for LS/LT based engines undergoing valvetrain upgrades. These pushrods feature a .080" wall thickness, providing enhanced stability even at high RPM, and are heat-treated for increased durability. To prevent stress fractures and cracks, the oil holes are precisely drilled and chamfered. Available in various lengths, the standard LS7 length is 7.800" while the standard LT length is 7.850". Determining the correct pushrod length is crucial and can be affected by numerous factors including block deck height, head deck height, head stud boss height, rocker arm brand/design, cam base circle size, lifter design/brand/pushrod seat height, and valve stem length. It's recommended to use tools like the Comp Cams adjustable pushrod measuring tool to ensure precise fitment for your specific application, as a pushrod that fits one engine may not work in another due to these variables.
