These valve locks are CARB exempt for racing and off-road use, provided the vehicle is a race/competition-only vehicle. They are also CARB exempt for on-road vehicles with no impact on pollution output, and for older federally or California certified vehicles if they meet the respective year's tailpipe emission standards.
