The Porsche PCCM Plus Infotainment System is a genuine Porsche upgrade designed for select 997, Boxster 987, and Cayman 987 models manufactured between 2005 and 2008. This system offers a modern infotainment experience within a classic Porsche interior. It features a 7-inch touchscreen display and is a 2 DIN unit, ensuring a seamless integration into the dashboard. Installation involves routing a new microphone and connecting a fiber optic bypass behind the radio to remove the old Bluetooth unit. Some users report needing to remove the subwoofer and a small piece of carpet for antenna bypass access. Compatibility is confirmed for Porsche 997 models from 2005-2008, Boxster 987 models from 2005-2008, and Cayman 987 models from 2006-2008. It is explicitly stated that this unit will not work on 2009 and later model year 997 vehicles.
