The BDS Suspension 7-inch 4-Link lift kit is engineered to significantly enhance the stance, performance, and capability of 2023-2025 Ford F250/F350 4WD diesel trucks. This comprehensive system replaces the factory radius arms with heavy-duty 4-link control arms, optimizing suspension geometry for improved handling and stability. It incorporates FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coil-over shocks with remote reservoirs for increased fluid capacity and cooling, ensuring consistent performance on and off-road. The DSC (Dual Speed Compression) adjuster allows for precise tuning of low-speed and high-speed compression. Up front, the kit includes FOX 2.5 coil-over shocks, mounting brackets, a forged drop pitman arm, track bar bracket for steering correction, sway bar relocation components, and brake line brackets. To accommodate the lift height and maintain proper driveline angles, a transfer case indexing ring and a new high-clearance transmission crossmember are supplied. In the rear, the system utilizes a fabricated steel lift block and longer u-bolts, paired with matching FOX Performance shocks. This lift kit allows for the fitment of up to 38-inch tires, with specific wheel and tire recommendations provided (38x12.5 with 17x9 or 20x9 wheels and 5-inch backspace). Minor trimming may be required for clearance depending on the wheel setup. Important notes for installation include the recommendation to replace the pitman arm nut, potential requirements for overload spacer blocks or carrier bearing drop kits depending on specific truck configurations, and the use of a pitman arm puller. For trucks equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft, BDS123402 may be required. Tremor models will have a reduced net lift height. Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 405 ft-lbs. Additionally, BDS recommends addressing Ford Safety Recall 21S31 regarding the rear axle before installation. Crucially, recalibration of your vehicle's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as cameras, radars, and LiDAR may be necessary by a dealership or ADAS service center to ensure the proper function of features like lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. The vehicle owner is solely responsible for any costs associated with these calibrations.
