The Alpine INE-W987HD is a double DIN multimedia receiver designed to enhance your in-car experience with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and integrated GPS navigation. This digital media receiver features an AM/FM tuner and supports playback of MP3, WMA, AAC, and high-resolution FLAC music files, while also offering a built-in HD Radio tuner. For smartphone integration, it is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, includes built-in Bluetooth for hands-free calling and music streaming, and provides control for Pandora and Spotify. Siri Eyes Free control is available with select iPhones, and smartphone mirroring is supported with select Android devices. The built-in navigation system covers the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, with over 6 million points of interest. It provides free lifetime HERE traffic service in metropolitan areas, text-to-speech voice prompts, lane assistance, and junction view, all accessible through a pinch-to-zoom map interface. Audio features include a 9-band parametric EQ with independent front/rear EQ settings, time correction, and high/low-pass crossovers. For expandability, it offers a rear USB input, a rear A/V input (which may be occupied if using an optional iDatalink Maestro module), and a rear-view camera input. Audio outputs include HDMI and 6-channel preamp outputs (4-volt front, rear, subwoofer).
