70-81 Camaro Traction Bar - Leaf Spring

Competition Leaf Springs are designed especially for Stock Eliminator and Bracket Race Cars with leaf springs. These bars eliminate wheel hop and improve traction by applying the force that normally produces unwanted axle rotation onto a downward force where the tire meets the pavement. Constructed out of sturdy 2.5" x 1.5" x .120" wall steel tubing with a black powder coat finish. Fixture welded to ensure a perfect fit for each application. Bar length designed so that snubber locates under spring eye for maximum traction. Complete installation hardware included‚ nothing else to buy. 1/2" J-Bolts included in kits where required, 1/2" U-Bolts supplied to replace stock hardware. Square U-Bolt bracket on front designed to keep from rotating downward during hard braking. Legal in all sanctioning bodies. Capable of handling horsepower levels up to 500 hp.
