The CTS Turbo Street Sport & Bearing Upgrade Strut Mount Kit offers enhanced performance and durability for Volkswagen & Audi MQB and MQB EVO models. Redesigned with performance in mind, these mounts are constructed from high-durometer rubber, specifically 70 Durometer, making them approximately 50% stiffer than stock components. This material choice, combined with a fully vulcanized rubber construction, significantly increases the lifespan and overall performance of the mounts. These upgraded strut mounts address common issues found in factory components. They eliminate the 'slop' often associated with stock mounts, providing a more direct connection to the road. Furthermore, they effectively eliminate the 'squeaking' sound that can arise, particularly when paired with coilover suspensions. By reducing strut mount deflection, the kit ensures proper suspension geometry is maintained even under load, leading to improved steering feel, more responsive handling, and a generally more engaging driving experience.
