700-2&3 Reprogramming Kit

The TransGo 700-2&3 Reprogramming Kit is designed to enhance the performance and durability of GM 700R4 and 4L60 automatic transmissions, specifically for models from 1982 to 1993. This kit provides significant flexibility in transmission control. Option one offers fully automatic shifts in Drive, while also allowing the driver to hold any gear to any speed and downshift to any gear at any speed via the shift lever. It also gives control over the 3-4 upshift at high throttle positions. Option two provides a full manual shift experience, where the transmission starts in the selected gear and shifts through all gears manually by moving the shift lever. Key benefits include the prevention of burnt 2-4 band and 3-4 clutch plates, as well as burnt forward and low/reverse clutch plates. The kit includes a #7-CS 3-4 clutch piston return spring kit for the input drum, which is designed to reduce centrifugal 3-4 clutch apply and failure, especially in demanding conditions. Installation can be performed with the transmission in the vehicle, though removal is necessary to install the clutch piston return spring kit on the bench. The kit includes numerous components to achieve these improvements, such as pressure regulator valve springs, TV valve components, accumulator valve springs, line bias valve springs, hardened steel control valves, shift valve springs, separator plate plugs, case plugs, washers for band adjustment, a servo spring, governor spring, valve body gaskets, and return springs for clutches.
