Description

The United Engine & Machine Co. KB287.060 is a set of 8 hypereutectic pistons designed for BBC 454 engines. These pistons feature a dish top with a single valve relief and a bore size of 4.310 inches. They are constructed from a low-expansion 390 alloy with 16 percent silicon for tighter running clearances.

Key specifications include a 4.000-inch crankshaft stroke, 6.135-inch rod length, and a 1.645-inch compression height. The pistons have a dish volume of +18.00cc and are designed with fully machined head and valve reliefs, CNC-machined pin bores, and accumulator grooves for enhanced ring seal.
