Overview

The GSC Power-Division GSC7010S3 is a set of billet S3 camshafts designed for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X. These camshafts are intended for builds aiming for 800+ horsepower and operate within a 4500-9500 RPM range. They are manufactured from a forged billet core in the USA.

Installation of these S3 cams requires an upgraded valve spring and should be set up with either a 0° callout for exhaust MIVEC or a fixed exhaust cam gear. The specifications include an ADV duration of 280° for both intake and exhaust, with a duration at 0.040" of 241° (intake) and 242° (exhaust). Peak lift for both is 11.30 mm, with intake center line at 114.0° and exhaust center line at 115.0°.

The GSC Power-Division Billet S3 Camshafts (GSC7010S3) are specifically engineered for high-performance Japanese sport compact vehicles, particularly those with 4B11T engines like the Mitsubishi Evo X. Designed for builds aiming for 800+ horsepower, these cams feature a 280/280 duration and 11.30mm intake valve lift, providing a significant increase in performance potential. GSC Power-Division utilizes advanced FEA and flow simulation software, coupled with on-site CNC machining, to ensure meticulous attention to detail, tight tolerances, and precise specifications. These forged billet cams are ground from solid bar stock on state-of-the-art CNC grinding machines. For optimal performance and reliability, it is recommended that all high-performance camshafts, including the GSC S3 series, be cleaned, inspected, installed, and timed by an experienced, SAE-certified mechanic or a skilled high-performance engine builder. Professional installation is available at select locations, such as Knobtown Cycle in Kansas City.
