Description

The ARB ARB705 recovery strap is engineered for the demanding task of extracting bogged or immobilized 4WD vehicles. Constructed from 100% nylon, this strap boasts a genuine 20% stretch elasticity. This inherent stretch allows the strap to store kinetic energy, which aids in the recovery process and simultaneously reduces the potential for vehicle damage that can occur with rigid tow straps. With a minimum breaking strength of 8,000 kilograms (17,600 lbs) and a length of 30 feet (9 meters) with a width of 2 1/8 inches (60mm), the ARB705 is robustly built. It features reinforced eyes for durability and protector sleeves to guard against abrasion. Each ARB snatch strap is woven and fabricated to strict quality specifications and rigorously tested by a NATA-approved laboratory to ensure optimal performance and reliability. For optimal vehicle recovery, it is recommended that the snatch strap's minimum breaking strength (MBS) be between two to three times the vehicle’s gross vehicle mass (GVM).
