Racecars often use stud and nut kits to overcome the frustrations of factory wheel bolts, such as difficulty in alignment, potential caliper interference, and cross-threading. RacingLine’s stud and nut kit offers a solution by replacing fiddly bolts with high-tensile studs and lightweight wheel nuts, providing a stronger fixation method and saving unsprung weight. This conversion is a simple, reversible upgrade that significantly speeds up wheel changes, making it ideal for motorsport and track use. The kit features 70mm motorsport studs crafted from high-tensile, heat-treated high-carbon steel, exceeding the strength of factory bolts for enhanced safety. These studs have an internal 6mm allen drive for precise installation and 8mm of unthreaded shank to ensure clearance with brake discs. The included M14 x 1.5 wheel nuts are machined from lightweight 7000-series aluminum and feature a 19mm hex size for greater contact area and ease of use. These open-ended nuts have a knurled outer collar for improved finger grip and a stylish midnight-black gloss anodized finish. It's crucial to verify your wheel type before ordering, as RacingLine also offers conical seat nuts for most aftermarket wheels. The 70mm stud length allows for the safe use of spacer setups up to 10mm without the risk of running out of thread.
