The Accufab Racing 70mm throttle body is a high-performance intake component designed for the 1986-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0L. It replaces the restrictive stock throttle body to allow more air into the engine. This unit is CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and features a polished finish.

The Accufab 70mm Throttle Body is engineered as a direct bolt-on replacement for the restrictive stock unit in your 1986-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0L. This upgrade is designed to significantly improve airflow, providing your 5.0L engine with the air it needs for enhanced performance. It features solid brass plate blades and stainless steel shafts for smooth operation and longevity. Each unit is bench-ground, hand-polished, assembled, and calibrated by Accufab in California, USA. This throttle body has been tested using a SuperFlow SF-1020 air flow bench, achieving 787 CFM in its standard configuration and 896 CFM in its race configuration. Accufab offers this 70mm throttle body in various versions, including Standard and Race options, with or without spacers for EGR or blanking. The Race version requires 4" tubing at the inlet and does not include a vacuum elbow. Important installation notes specify that idle speed should only be set by adjusting the throttle position sensor, and no screws on the throttle body itself should be adjusted as they are pre-set by Accufab. Gaskets for the throttle body, IAC, and EGR (where applicable) are included. The product is intended for off-road or racing applications only and may not be legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles in California.
