70mm Throttle Body

The Accufab Racing 70mm throttle body is a high-performance intake component engineered to replace the restrictive stock unit on your 1986-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0L. It is CNC machined from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum, not cast, and features stainless steel shafts and solid brass plate blades. Each unit is bench-ground, hand-polished, assembled, and calibrated in California, USA. Designed and tested using a SuperFlow SF-1020 air flow bench, this throttle body offers improved air flow, leading to more horsepower. It is available in Standard and Race versions, with the Race version requiring 4″ tubing at the inlet and lacking a vacuum elbow. The product description explicitly states that this 70mm throttle body, with or without a spacer, is specifically designed as a direct bolt-on for the 1986-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0L. Technical notes specify that idle speed should only be adjusted by the throttle position sensor; do not adjust any screws on the throttle body as they are pre-set by Accufab. Gaskets (throttle body, IAC, and EGR where applicable) are included, but mounting hardware is not provided. Accufab also offers optional accessories to adapt these throttle bodies for use with GM electronics, such as TPS and IAC adapters.
