70mm Throttle Body

The BBK Performance 70mm throttle body is engineered to directly replace restrictive stock components, increasing airflow to your engine for improved horsepower and torque. With a 70mm bore size, it is compatible with most aftermarket intake manifolds and can also work with a stock intake. It includes die-stamped throttle linkages, double-sealed bearings, and o-ringed throttle shafts for reliable operation. The unit is designed and manufactured in the USA. Installation is straightforward as it is a direct-fit replacement. However, an EGR spacer (PN 1502) is required for proper installation. This throttle body is C.A.R.B. Approved (EO Number D-245-15) and legal for use in all 50 states on specific applications. Vehicle fitment includes 1986-1993 Ford Mustang 5.0L V8 engines, and it also fits 5.8L Ford Lightning models with an extended EGR coolant hose and requires rotating a 90-degree tube. Please note: This throttle body will NOT fit the 1986 Ford Mustang with an automatic transmission.
