Carefree of Colorado has been manufacturing RV Awnings since 1971, offering a complete line of awnings for Motor Homes, Travel Trailers, Folding Camping Trailers, and Truck Campers. Their focus on RV Awnings and Accessories allows them to innovate and provide unique shade products with high quality, value, performance, and style. Carefree awnings are available in Electric or Manual configurations. Powered (12v or 110v) awnings operate with a push of a button and can come with optional Direct Response Electronics that automatically retract the awning when motion exceeds a predetermined threshold. A remote control option is also available. Manual awnings come in crank or pull-out options. Awnings are available in widths ranging from 8’ to 25’, with extension heights commonly 8’ but some up to 10’. Select awnings offer a dual pitch option or easy-to-use adjustable pitch for sun blocking. Hardware is available in black, white, or satin (select awnings in black or white only). Over 100 different fabric colors and patterns are available, including Dune Stripes, Shale Fades, and Denim Stripes. Fabric materials include Vinyl, Polyweave Vinyl, Premium Vinyl, and Acrylic. To protect the fabric, three Weatherguards are offered: Uniguard, Alumaguard, and FLXguard, designed to protect the awning from sun and elements while rolled up.
