The RKI US72AW Upper Side Truck Tool Box features .080 bright diamond treadplate aluminum construction with full arc welds. Doors are also .080 bright diamond treadplate aluminum with .090 smooth aluminum inner stiffeners. Each door has three stainless steel pillow block type hinges with self-lubricating bushings and full-length 5/16" stainless steel hinge pins, riveted to the box. A drip rail is formed by the top panel over the doors, which are held horizontally by heavy-duty machine chains (detachable for 180° swing). Each door has a full-size, recessed stainless steel paddle handle rotary latch and two keys. A ribbed D-Bulb seal is installed in a full perimeter channel, with the door having a formed knife edge to contact the seal. The box is finished with a five-stage metal pretreatment anti-corrosion system and a super durable white polyester powder coat. Mounting hardware is included.
