Description

The WAI 5742N is a 12-volt starter motor designed for Briggs & Stratton PMDD engines. It features a 16-tooth pinion and CCW rotation, with a field case length of 97mm and mounting hole centers at 57mm.

This starter motor is 100% new, engineered in the USA to meet or exceed OE specifications. Individual components have been upgraded for increased cranking power, cycle endurance, and severe duty conditions. The solenoid is constructed with high conductivity materials, and the drive gear components are precision machined with upgraded steel shafts for enhanced power transmission and longevity.
