The MercedesSource 722.3 K1 Accumulator Upgrade Kit is a factory-engineered transmission improvement designed for 722.3 transmissions produced between 1981 and 1990. It aims to reduce shift delay or "flaring" during the transition between second and third gears by adjusting pressure in the K1 drum.

The kit utilizes Genuine Mercedes accumulator components to restore shifting performance. Provided the transmission clutches are not worn and the K1 drum seals are in good condition, this upgrade effectively addresses common 2-3 shift issues.
