722.6 Overlap Control Valve Sleeve Kit

The Sonnax 68942-05K Master Overlap Control Valve Sleeve Kit is engineered to address common shift complaints in Mercedes 722.6 transmissions, such as flare shifts, bump shifts, harsh shifts, and slipping gears. Wear in the overlap control valve sleeves, caused by continuous plunger valve oscillation, allows modulated oil pressure to exhaust or oppose shifts, leading to these issues. This Sonnax kit provides a solution by restoring necessary hydraulic control tolerances in the critical 1-2, 4-5, 2-3, and 3-4 bores. The kit includes three distinct overlap control sleeves, each identified by end-face notches for easy identification (one notch for 1-2, 4-5; two notches for 2-3; three notches for 3-4). It also features highly wear-resistant aluminum sleeves with hi-temp rubber O-rings for enhanced durability and positive sealing in the bore. The original OE spring and anodized valve can be reused with this kit. This performance part is manufactured in the United States and comes with a manufacturer warranty. Please note that the valve body, valves, and springs are not included with this kit.
