Show original supplier description
The Weistec 722.9 7 Speed TCU Tune is a computer programmer designed for at-home flashing via the vehicle's OBD2 port using the Cypher Flash Tool. This tune enhances transmission performance by enabling faster target shift times and increasing line pressure. These adjustments lead to quicker and firmer shifts, significantly reducing clutch slip and increasing the transmission's torque capacity. By clamping the transmission clutches harder, the gearbox can handle more torque, and with less slip and faster shifts, the overall lifespan of the transmission is typically improved. This upgrade is suitable for both stock and modified vehicles. The Weistec TCU tune offers several key features, including faster shifts, increased line pressure, and firmer shifts. It also provides increased torque capacity and increased software torque limits, ensuring the transmission can handle more power reliably. To verify compatibility with your specific vehicle, please email your VIN to tuning@weistec.com. This tune is compatible with select Mercedes-Benz models equipped with the 722.9 7-speed automatic transmission, including the 2011-2016 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 BlueEfficiency Base (R172) with the 3.5L V6 (M276 DE35) engine. Additional compatibility details can be found in the vehicle application table, and it is recommended to contact Weistec with your VIN for precise fitment confirmation.
