72mm Drive By Wire Throttle Body

The K-Tuned 72mm Drive By Wire Throttle Body offers enhanced airflow for performance-oriented vehicles. Its true 72mm bore is significantly larger than stock throttle bodies, providing a 44% increase over the 2006-11 Civic Si stock unit and a 9% increase over the ZDX/J37. This unit is engineered as a direct bolt-on for RBC/RRC intake manifolds and other manifolds with the same bolt pattern. Constructed with a machined 72mm bore and a brass butterfly, this throttle body ensures durability and smooth operation. It includes two 1/8NPT vacuum ports on the bottom, suitable for brake booster or vacuum reference applications. The inlet is designed to accept a 3-inch silicone coupler, though you may need to adjust it to match your specific intake setup. Included with the throttle body are a thermal gasket, mounting bolts, and two 1/8NPT plugs. Installation of this throttle body requires engine management, specifically K-Pro or a similar system like Flashpro, to properly manage the increased airflow and ensure optimal performance. The design utilizes an OEM connector, eliminating the need for a jumper harness and providing an integrated, almost OEM appearance once installed.
