AFCO's 81 Series Stock Mount Shocks are gas shocks designed for dedicated tuners in racing applications. They fit GM A/G Body Style cars in their original location, with optimized lengths for IMCA and other sanctioning body regulations. Available in front and rear mount with multiple valving options (linear or digressive pistons), they can be custom built. Specifically for Southern Sport Mod, Hobby Stock, and Street Stock cars, the large body front shocks feature a 44mm piston to reduce fade and heat. Shorter front shocks allow for lowering the front end for improved stability, while 21” extended-length rear shocks enhance handling and provide better forward bite.
