75A Polyurethane Transmission Mount Bushing

The core of this upgrade is its robust 75A durometer polyurethane bushings, constructed from 6061 billet aluminum and 304 stainless steel. These bushings effectively minimize transmission movement under high torque without transmitting excessive drivetrain noise and vibration to the chassis, offering a more solid shifter feel. The mount is designed for OEM fitment in most AWD Subaru manual transmission setups, and includes an adapter spacer to ensure proper geometry for 5-speed manual transmissions. Installation is straightforward, utilizing an OEM-inspired press-fit stud in the stainless steel bracket to minimize the risk of misalignment. The transmission mount arrives fully assembled with all required mounting hardware included. Compared to factory options, the 75A durometer bushings are twice as stiff as Group N mounts, five times stiffer than stock STI mounts, and sixteen times stiffer than stock WRX mounts, providing a substantial improvement in transmission and drivetrain control. It is not compatible with 4/5 Speed Automatic or CVT models. Furthermore, this mount is exclusively for AWD Subaru transmissions and is not compatible with the RWD Aisin AZ6 transmission found in BRZ/FRS/86 models.
