Overview

The Boomba Racing 75mm throttle body is a CNC-machined, billet aluminum component designed for the 2001-2006 Mitsubishi Evolution VII, VIII, and IX. It offers a 56% increase in throttle cross-section area over the stock unit. This throttle body is available in black, red, or silver anodized finishes and retains the stock Evo idle control and TPS.

The included adapter plate allows it to be bolted to either the stock manifold or an 88mm Mustang 5.0 flange. The inlet accepts a 2.75" coupler directly or a 3.25" coupler with the provided 75mm adapter for intercooler piping.

The Boomba Racing 75mm Billet Throttle Body is engineered to enhance airflow for the 2001-2006 Mitsubishi Evolution VII, VIII, and IX. Constructed from CNC-machined billet aluminum and available in black, red, or silver anodized finishes, this throttle body features a 75mm bore diameter, which represents a 56% increase in cross-sectional area compared to the factory unit. The included adapter plate provides versatility, allowing for direct mounting to the stock manifold or compatibility with an 88mm Mustang 5.0 flange. Installation is streamlined, with the inlet side ready to accept a 2.75" coupler. For larger intercooler piping, a 75mm adapter is supplied to accommodate a 3.25" coupler. Even when paired with stock pipes and turbo, replacing the stock throttle body with this 75mm unit can yield modest horsepower gains and significantly improve engine response. Further performance increases are possible when combined with larger diameter intake piping. The purchase includes the throttle body, adapter plate, and four mounting bolts.
