75mm Throttle Body

The ZZ Performance LS4 throttle body is an upgraded component designed to enhance airflow to your supercharged engine. This unit features a 75mm diameter, significantly larger than the stock 67.4mm throttle body and 70.5mm stock blower opening, which helps to reduce parasitic loss and increase horsepower. Installation requires modification. Specifically, the blower inlet must be ported to accommodate the larger throttle plate and allow for full opening. If porting is not planned, a throttle body adapter/spacer plate is necessary. Additionally, a larger LS4 silicone coupler is needed due to the increased inlet size of this throttle body. For optimal performance gains, ZZ Performance recommends porting the entire supercharger inlet. This upgrade is suggested for vehicles already equipped with a full stage 3 kit, header/downpipe, dual pass endplate, and cams/valve springs. Significant increases in throttle response are noted. A PCM calibration is mandatory. The ETC area scaler, typically set to 2950 in HPTuners, will need adjustment. Calculations show the stock setup at approximately 2948 and the LS4 throttle body at 3688. Users have reported success with settings ranging from 3775 to 5500.
