Description

This tailgate is designed for restoring classic squarebody GMC trucks where the original tailgate is rusted or damaged. It is manufactured from new tools to ensure a precise fit and look. Constructed from heavy gauge steel and EDP coated for strength and corrosion protection, it includes all factory mounting points for easy installation. For 1976 trucks, two tailgate designs existed; this part fits the second design which uses a stud to attach the tailgate link. The first design uses a bolt to attach the link.
