The BBK Performance 76mm Mass Air Meter (part #8002) is specifically designed to enhance airflow and boost performance for select Ford Mustang 5.0L models from 1986-1993. This meter boasts a durable CNC-machined 356 aluminum housing with a charcoal finish, ensuring longevity and a sleek appearance. This unit is custom calibrated to work seamlessly with factory 19 lb/hr injectors and a fender well style cold air intake system. Its CAC (Cold Air Calibration) ensures precise air-fuel ratio readings, thanks to an electronically calibrated mass air sensor module. For ease of installation, it includes a 6-pin to 4-pin connection adapter for a direct plug-in to the factory harness. Dyno testing has indicated potential gains of up to 15 RWHP in minutes when installed. Installation is straightforward, typically involving a direct swap of the stock meter with the BBK MAF. However, this part is NOT C.A.R.B. Approved and cannot be installed or shipped for use on emission-controlled vehicles in California or to California residents.
