The Soler Performance SE0981-76NE is a premium modified throttle body meticulously engineered for 3.6L V6 LFX engines. This component enhances performance through its optimized active contours with sonic flow nozzles, a refined porting taper, and an upstream bore featuring a velocity stack for lip and bore reduction. The throttle body boasts a greater discharge coefficient at the plate/blade interface and a 16 Ra microinch, diamond-polished surface finish to minimize skin friction. Designed for improved airflow, the SE0981-76NE achieves a larger WOT flow area due to its shaftless high-pressure side of the blade, offering a 76 mm effective bore. It also includes a self-cleaning throat/flow gap and dome and thread-locked screws for durability. Made from brand-new OEM parts, this throttle body provides a lower weight-to-power ratio at part throttle for a more nimble driving experience, linearizes and smooths the engine's curve for predictable response and crisper shifts, and offers immediate response right off idle without affecting idling function. Installation is straightforward, typically taking 15 minutes or less, and crucially, this upgrade does not require any tuning or calibration, making it warranty safe. It delivers more air and power at every throttle position after idle, which is essential for initiating or expanding existing power modifications.
