76mm Throttle Body Kit

The IAG Big Bore 76mm Throttle Body with Electronics & Adapter by AIG is engineered for Subaru owners seeking to surpass 600 horsepower, where OEM throttle bodies become a significant restriction for larger, upgraded turbochargers. Addressing historical issues with aftermarket throttle bodies such as sticking, poor idle quality, and difficult installation, this system offers a solution that balances drivability with enhanced horsepower. The throttle body boasts a 76mm bore, a substantial increase of nearly 25% over stock units. It is designed to integrate seamlessly with OEM STI, Cosworth, and AMS intake manifolds using a CNC-machined adapter plate crafted from 6061 aluminum. This adapter plate features an O-ring sealing surface and is available in either a black or natural silver anodized finish. The package includes the Big Bore 76mm Throttle Body (silver finish only), the IAG aluminum adapter plate, and all required hardware, including M6x50mm and M6x20mm low profile socket head cap screws and O-rings. Installation is streamlined compared to previous options. The process involves removing the OEM Subaru throttle body, installing the supplied adapter, and then fitting the new 76mm throttle body to the intake manifold. The OEM connector is plug-and-play, eliminating complicated disassembly and springs, although MAP sensor relocation might be necessary.
