The K&N 77 Series high-flow performance metal air intake kits are engineered to combine outstanding performance with under-the-hood style. This system virtually eliminates air path restriction by replacing the factory air filter and the entire air path to the engine with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube. The aerodynamically designed K&N aluminum tube drives a larger volume of air into the engine, leading to increased power. Available with polished aluminum or gunmetal grey powder tube finishes, these intakes feature an oversized, high-flow conical air filter. This design increases surface area and dust capacity, allowing for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required under normal highway driving conditions. Many kits also include a heat shield to block engine heat, keeping the air entering the engine cooler and further increasing horsepower. The adapters are constructed from durable materials like silicon or reinforced nylon, and the kits come with powder-coated steel brackets. This vehicle-specific design ensures maximum performance, aesthetics, and ease of installation, often mounting using factory holes. The K&N 77 Series intake is guaranteed to boost horsepower, torque, and acceleration, and is compatible with OE computer systems.
