The K&N 77 Series cold air intake system is designed to increase horsepower and torque for Ford Ranger and other compatible vehicles. It features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter with oiled cotton filter media.

The K&N 77 Series high-flow performance metal air intake kits are designed to combine outstanding performance with under-the-hood style. This system replaces the factory air intake, which can restrict airflow, with a mandrel-bent aluminum tube. This design virtually eliminates air path restriction, driving a large amount of air into the engine for increased power. The 77 Series intakes are available with polished aluminum or gunmetal grey powder tube finishes. They feature an oversized, conical high-flow air filter that increases surface area and dust capacity, offering a longer life before cleaning is required (up to 100,000 miles). Most kits include a heat shield to block engine heat, further increasing horsepower by keeping intake air temperature lower. The kit is compatible with OE computer systems and is guaranteed to boost horsepower, torque, and acceleration. This K&N air intake is 50-state legal, though some kits may not be legal in California. It comes with a "No-Hassle" limited lifetime warranty.
