WELD Racing wheels are designed and engineered using advanced calculations and engineering principles, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Rotational Moment of Inertia (RMOI). Weld engineers aim to create wheels that are as strong as necessary for the intended application at the lightest possible weight, with a factor of safety. They incorporate 3-dimensional contours to spread the load evenly and minimize "hot spots." Every new wheel design is also physically tested in an in-house destructive testing lab.
