The BBK Performance 78mm throttle body is engineered to enhance the performance of 3.6L V6 engines, offering a significant upgrade over stock components. This reconditioned unit boasts a 78mm bore, which provides a 35% increase in airflow potential compared to the stock 73mm throttle body, directly translating to improved horsepower, torque, and throttle response. Its design is a direct bolt-on, intended for easy installation with basic hand tools, and is compatible with both OEM and aftermarket cold air intakes. BBK states that in most cases, these throttle bodies work with a factory tune, but a tune may be recommended depending on other modifications and ECM sensitivity for optimal performance and integration with other aftermarket parts. This throttle body is C.A.R.B. Approved with EO Number D-245-21 (for 2011-2016 models ONLY). It is important to note specific fitment exclusions: it WILL NOT fit 2019-2024 Dodge RAM DT Trucks (6 Lug) and WILL NOT fit 17-21 Wrangler Jeep applications. It also does not fit 2019-2024 Dodge RAM 3.6 Classic Truck Applications (5 Lug) that are DT models. BBK Performance warrants all parts against defects in materials and craftsmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
