The ATK remanufactured 8.1L 496 Vortec Engine DCWE is designed as a powerful and dependable replacement for Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs. This 8.1L engine undergoes a complete remanufacturing process, including full teardown, cleaning, and inspection of all internal components. Updated components are utilized to address known wear areas, and the engine is pressure and leak tested for proven sealing integrity. Before shipping, it is SIM-tested to verify horsepower, torque, and smooth performance. This remanufactured engine is compatible with a range of Chevrolet and GMC vehicles from 2004 to 2009, including specific models like the Chevrolet Avalanche 2500, C-Series Kodiak trucks, Silverado 2500 HD and 3500, Suburban 2500, and GMC C-Series Topkick trucks, Sierra 2500 HD and 3500, and Yukon XL 2500.
