The Flashark Racing Long Tube Header (model EH28131) is engineered as a performance upgrade for specific Dodge and Chrysler Hemi V8 engines. The 8-2 piping design and extended primary tubes are intended to optimize exhaust scavenging, reducing backpressure and maximizing mid-to-high RPM power output. The performance-driven design enhances throttle response and overall driving experience. Beyond power, it also aids in reducing engine heat buildup and can contribute to improved fuel efficiency due to better exhaust flow. Fitment is specific: it is designed for RWD 5.7L and 6.1L Hemi V8 engines in the 2008-2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8, 2006-2010 Dodge Charger SRT8, 2007-2008 Dodge Magnum R/T (5.7L) and SRT8 (6.1L), 2005-2010 Chrysler 300C SRT8 (6.1L) and 2010-2011 300C All Trims (5.7L), and the 2010 Chrysler 300S (5.7L). Crucially, these headers will not fit AWD vehicles. A tune is not required but highly recommended for maximum gains and to prevent potential Check Engine Lights due to O2 sensor readings. Gaskets and hardware are not included.
