This Zumbrota Drivetrain Remanufactured 8.25" IFS Front Axle Assembly is rebuilt for precision and reliability. Each assembly is inspected for straightness, cracks, and wear. All internal components (ring & pinions, gears, clutches, carriers) are inspected and tested. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact and correct rolling torque. Correct gear backlash is set for proper lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes meet OEM straightness standards. Zumbrota uses an exclusive hydro-blast rinse, sandblasting, and proprietary deep cleaning process. Units ship in high-density plastic totes to prevent damage.
