The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1249EE-P is a remanufactured axle assembly designed for GM 10-bolt 8.5-inch rear differentials, featuring a 3.73 gear ratio and a G80 Posi Traction locking differential. Each axle assembly is meticulously rebuilt to the highest standards, undergoing thorough inspection for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are inspected and tested. To ensure longevity and precision, all bearings and seals are replaced, and gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque. The remanufacturing process includes a proprietary hydro-blast rinse and sandblasting procedure on all parts, followed by a deep cleaning process. All housings are tested for OEM specifications of straightness, and critical components like bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are replaced 100%. This assembly is specifically designed for 28-spline axles and has a fluid capacity of 2 quarts, though fluid is not included.
