The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-2259-P is a remanufactured rear axle assembly designed for 2007-2008 GM Pickup 1500 models equipped with AWD, active brakes, and a Posi Limited Slip Differential. This unit features an 8.6-inch ring gear and a 3.42 gear ratio, ensuring precise power delivery. Zumbrota Drivetrain meticulously rebuilds each axle assembly to meet high standards of precision and reliability. The process involves thorough inspection of axle tubes for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers, are rigorously inspected and tested. Crucially, all bearings and seals are replaced with new ones. The gears are examined for optimal tooth contact patterns, and correct rolling torque is set using inch-pound measurements for longevity and quiet operation. This specific assembly is noted to have the Active Brake Control Option (JL4) and Brake Option (JD9).
