This Zumbrota Drivetrain Axle Assembly is rebuilt to high-quality standards, with all internal components thoroughly inspected and tested, including ring & pinions, internal gears, clutches, and carriers. All bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are 100% replaced. Gears are inspected for optimal tooth contact patterns and correct rolling torque, and backlash is set for proper lubrication and quiet operation. Axle tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM standards, and housings are tested for wear and cracks, then cleaned using a hydro-blast and sandblasting procedure followed by proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning.
