The Zumbrota RAA435-2038B-P is a remanufactured axle assembly specifically engineered for the 2000 Ford F150 equipped with an 8.8-inch ring gear, a 3.08 gear ratio, rear disc brakes, and a Posi Limited Slip Differential. This axle assembly undergoes a comprehensive remanufacturing process to meet high standards of precision and reliability. Each unit is meticulously inspected for straightness, cracks, and surface wear. All internal components, including the ring and pinion, internal gears, clutches, and carriers, are thoroughly examined and tested. To ensure longevity and optimal performance, all bearings and seals are replaced, and gears are inspected for proper tooth contact patterns and rolling torque, with backlash precisely set for adequate lubrication and quiet operation. Zumbrota employs an exclusive cleaning procedure that includes hydro-blasting and sandblasting for internal and external parts.
