The USA Standard Gear ZGK2047 is a differential ring and pinion gear kit specifically designed for 8.8-inch Ford rear ends, featuring a 4.11 gear ratio. The kit is engineered for applications with a 10-bolt rear cover and a 10-bolt ring gear. It includes the ring gear, pinion gear, pinion seal, crush sleeve, pinion nut, ring gear bolt kit, and marking compound with a brush. The inner pinion bearing has a 3.250" outside diameter and the ring gear diameter is 8.8". This kit is intended to enhance acceleration and improve low-end torque through its optimized gearing. Installation is estimated to take approximately one day and requires light to moderate mechanical skill. The product comes with a 1-year warranty. Compatibility is extensive, including various Ford models such as the Explorer Sport Trac (2001-2005), Mustang (2005-2010), F-150 (1983-2003), Ranger (1999-2009), Bronco (1983-1996), and E-Series vans (1987-2006), among others. Note that one customer reported that this kit does not fit a 2014 Mustang GT, stating it was too thick and required new wheel studs.
