The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1931G-P is a remanufactured, semi-floating axle assembly engineered for specific Ford Ranger models. This axle assembly boasts an 8.8-inch ring gear with a 3.73:1 ratio and is designed for models equipped with 9-inch drum brakes. It features a Posi Limited Slip Differential (LSD) to enhance traction and performance. Each Zumbrota axle assembly is rebuilt to exacting quality standards. The rebuilding process includes comprehensive inspection and straightening of tubes to OEM specifications, testing of housings for surface wear and cracks, and a 100% inspection of internal components like ring and pinions, gears, clutches, and carriers. Bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are completely replaced for reliability. The housings are finished using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to an OEM finish, and correct rolling torque is established through precise inch-pound measurements.
